Jergens Natural Glow Express Self Tan

Jergens.com describes their product as "jump-start your natural-looking color in just one day. With the exclusive Glow Perfecting Complex, Jergens natural glow express body moisturizer provides natural-looking summer color faster than ever before! Jumpstart your color within 1 day and get more than a full shade of color in 3 days."

I have to say I was very impressed with this product. I've tried other drugstore self tanners and I was left with unattractive streaks, but with this however.. no streaks!

The product itself looks the same as a lotion, with no color. I rubbed it in all over, and just as it said, within a day I could already see the results. (I used it at night so I saw the results in the morning). I used this product two days in a row, and then about every other day thereafter, and I love it. I've achieved the "maximum tan" I think I'll get from the product, so mostly I've just been maintaining it. But I think one of the biggest pluses was the actual moisturizing! My skin feels amazing, soft and silky with no residue.

I also received a sample of the face moisturizer when I purchased the body moisturizer and I think I love it even more! It's the exact same product except thinner, and it smells like cocoa. Mmmmmmmmmm.

All in all, love this product and definitely think I'll be sticking with it.

Mixing Foundations

Most people mix foundations when they want to find the perfect color for their skin tone. I, however, was so used to using NARS Sheerglow that when I started using Chanel Pro Lumiere I really missed that bit of glow I got from the NARS.

To get the look I desired, I ended up mixing Chanel Pro Lumiere with a sample of Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua for my anniversary dinner with my boyfriend. I posted pictures of the night on my tumblr, and I have to say I loved the way it looked! It gave just that extra bit of oomph. All I did was mix the two evenly. Although, I’m not sure I want to shell out the money for the full size Vita Lumiere Aqua just to always mix the two. As much as I would love to own Vita Lumiere Aqua, I’m not sure the justification is there in just mixing it with Pro Lumiere.

My solution? I’m going to try mixing Pro Lumiere with Mac’s Strobe Cream. I don’t know why I didn’t think of this earlier, but I’m excited to see how it works! If I'm not entirely pleased with the result, I'm not sure that I will be repurchasing the Pro Lumiere, as much as I do want to love it!

I'm back!

Hello beauties!

I am so very sorry that it's been so long. I notice that I stopped updating right when I got a job last summer, & boy was it a busy summer! But here I am again, promising to you to once again frequently update my page. I have a lot in store, & I am very excited to share with you all my adventures once again!
